Well the start of another year already and we’re really looking forward to getting back out playing live shows. Finally I am in the process of getting Aladdinsane t-shirts printed. I know many of you have asked us for them before. Hopefully these will be ready and available for the Stamford Corn Exchange on the 28th Feb and will be available for all the shows after.
Back in December I got the chance to have a good chat with Woody Woodmansey and Suzi Ronson just prior to the excellent performance by all at the Lexington show in London. It was lovely to catch up again, as it has been a few years since I last saw Woody. Suzi and I were on the One show back in 2010 when they did a feature on famous haircuts and of course the Ziggy cut was right up there, thanks to Suzi. Woody has more shows planned for 2015 with Tony Visconti and opportunities like this should not be missed.
We have more shows confirmed from June to December and more to be confirmed. All these shows will be added to the web page within the next few weeks once we have confirmation from other shows planned.
Last year saw the first David Bowie convention in Derby and the whole event was a huge success with superb performances by various artists, so no surprise that it has been confirmed for the Fri 8th & Sat 9th of May this year. We will be playing the Friday night and I have been asked if I would do an acoustic set early Sat evening, playing various Bowie tracks not done with the band and a couple of my own songs requested, which of course I agreed to.
